My story in healthcare began over a decade ago in the intensive care unit, where every decision mattered and every moment counted. Working with critically ill patients taught me not just about medicine, but about human resilience, family bonds, and the profound impact of compassionate care.

Day after day, I witnessed something that deeply troubled me: patients who fought so hard to survive in the ICU would be discharged, only to face overwhelming challenges at home. Families, though loving and devoted, often lacked the resources and expertise to provide the level of care their loved ones needed during this critical transition period.

This gap between hospital and home became my calling. I realized that my skills and experience could serve a greater purpose beyond the hospital walls. That's when I made the decision to create Orem HomeCare—not just as a business, but as a mission to ensure no patient or family feels abandoned after discharge.
